Absolute Electric is pleased to announce our recent contract agreement with OPEL inc. to install a 40kw solar tracking system at the Aquarion water treatment plant at Trap Falls resivoir in Shelton, CT. This system will utilize three types of solar technology. A SF-45 dual axis tracker which will keep its array pointed directly at the sun throughout the course of the day , three TF-800 single axis trackers which will follow the arc of the sun throughout the day and a small fixed tilt rack. All of these will be installed in a field adjacent to the facility.
